Clairvoyance is a person who can see, endowed with 'second sight'; the faculty of seeing spirit in their normal state of being perfectly awake. 'Seeing' mediumsin reality see with their soul, their spirit eyes, and can see just as well with their eyes closed as when they are open. This form of mediumship  has been and still is practised more than any other form of supernatural phenomena in many countries throughout the world and it has been proved to spiritualists and psychical investigators that human beings do survive bodily death. this is the most popular current method of communicating with those who have gone on to the next life.

Contrary to what some people think, we do not see spirit people as 'ghosts', with our physical eyes. We see them with our 'third' eye, or 'psychic' eye and this is located at the centre of our forehead. Therefore, what we see may appear to be superimposed as a solid object and seen when the eyes are closed or open.

Spirit usually appears to us, as they would have been remembered, so that we can describe them to those whom they have left behind in this world. If we were to describe the spirit visitor, as they are now, in spirit form, the sitter would not recognise this person. For example: If a man was deformed, had say an artificial limb when he was on the earth plane, this would automatically be rectified when he reached the spirit world, this is only a physical condition, not a spiritual one. Therefore, on reaching the next world the spirit body would made whole once again and all pain removed. If only people would give their relatives in spirit a chance to communicate, they would find that even though they are on a different level of existence they still want to help and guide those who they have left behind and still love.

                                    The real voyage of discovery

lies not in seeking new landscapes

                                     but in having new eyes.

                                                                           Marcel Proust.
